Full Scope Cutting, Demo & Repair

CementWright combines concrete cutting and coring, demolition, patching, and repair with our complement of concrete services. Our span across these sections means we can typically complete projects faster and more efficiently than if multiple contractors were retained and managed. We can offer options for short turnaround on projects because of this. Concrete modifications and replacement projects fit well with us. In house cutting, coring, and demolition capacity united with our concrete services lets us supply projects using less subtrades. This means less middlemen and markup, and a more efficient project for our client.

Consider all costs when sourcing a concrete cutting and demolition project. Cleanup and scanning are where some cut corners on. Paying for a GPR scan of your cut and demolition area is cheap insurance compared with the downtime and costs incurred from hitting buried infrastructure such as high voltage power lines. Know the implications of different methods- it might be cheaper to perimeter cut a trench and jackhammer the interior than to crosscut it in some cases. Demolition of a slab might be simpler to do by cutting it up instead of using a breaker. We can answer questions and suggest options if you’re unsure or need ideas.

Be sure that your contractor is pricing the correct scope- initial prices may look attractive because they underscope the work. Ultimately these can be the most expensive option. CementWright can provide a second opinion on scopes to make sure you’re getting the correct project done. If you have questions about demolition, cutting, or related scopes in a project your planning or executing, call us. We’re happy to chat and try to help.
